Help support Strands of Compassion by running or walking in our third annual 5K!
Strands of Compassion provides mentoring, tutoring, job skills training, guidance for education and job opportunities, counseling, and housing options for young women who are aging out of the foster care system. Through grants, partnerships with other independent living organizations, and contributions from generous donors like you, Strands of Compassion helps this vulnerable population avoid or recover from homelessness, sex trafficking and addiction.
Through trauma-informed care, Strands of Compassion meets the young women where they are ~ providing effective support and treatment to properly address their complex trauma in order to deepen and strengthen connections with them.
100% of funds raised from this 5K will be used to provide the critical services mentioned above so young women who come from hard places can become the best they can be and achieve dreams they never thought possible!
