Strands of Compassion provides housing, mentoring, tutoring, counseling, as well as support reaching education and job goals for young women aging out of the foster care system who have experienced significant trauma. 100% of funds raised from this 5K will be used to provide these critical services. 

As a Board Member, I've been fortunate to see the difference Strands of Compassion can make in the lives of young women as they overcome incredible odds and achieve dreams they never thought possible!
